Televic confirms availability of Confidea® Wireless (28-06-2011)
Izegem (Belgium), June 28th, 2011 - Televic Conference announced today that it continues to supply Confidea®, its multi-band wireless conference system, and that it has no intention to prematurely discontinue this product.
The official announcement followed an earlier statement of
Sennheiser to its partners that their WiCOS product was
discontinued with immediate effect. The Sennheiser WiCOS labeled
product is an OEM version of Televic Confidea® Wireless.
The Sennheiser announcement in no way affects the status of the
original Televic product as an available and current product.
“As the manufacturer and having developed Confidea® we
can confirm that we have ample supply of key components.
Confidea® Wireless is one of our flagship products and
given its success we have no reason to discontinue this product in
the foreseeable future.” says Bart Deschodt, General Manager of
Televic Conference.
Current owners of the Sennheiser branded WiCOS product can rest
assured that their product has not become obsolete overnight. For
